Object: To create materials that would support the Inauguration of Mayor Megan Barry. The graphics needed to be inclusive and represent all of the constituents within the community. The graphic is an illustration of the Nashville Court house. The background in blue has her inaugural message, “We Make Nashville” in over seven different languages including kurdish, arabic, vietnamese, amharic and burmese. The inauguration was an open invitation to the entire Nashville community. Materials created included: email and digital invitation to the inauguration open to anyone, media and staff passes, programs, newspaper ads, etc.
Result: An incredible turnout, and the mayor liked the design so much that we altered the graphic to read “Office of Mayor Megan Barry” and created banners, pens, frisbees and t-shirts for various community events and involvement opportunities.
